I started reading the ikizama book thinking it was autobiographical but it is quite rambling in places and deals a lot more with Burakumin and religious issues than a straight autobio. I was hoping to improve the biography but this will have to go on hold for a bit. Sorry about the partial nature of the biography. JoshuSasori (talk) 02:49, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Overall additions

[edit]

Based on a biographical book in Japanese, which is primarily an interview with Rentaro Mikuni himself by Naoko Utsunomiya and Shinichi Sano, we have made significant additions to Mikuni's biography. Utsunomiya, in particular, is a writer who has known Mikuni for over twenty years. As there are many different theories as to how he made his debut, I have included the theory described on Shochiku's official Web site. Yut3117 (talk) 22:48, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
