Movie[edit]

Came across this whilst looking at the article on eternal return. Wasn't there supposed to be a movie based on the novel? Possibly starring Brad Pitt? I remember hearing of it. Perhaps the project got shelved. Dessydes 07:34, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:KenGrimwood Replay.jpg[edit]

Image:KenGrimwood Replay.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heart attack[edit]

It took everything in me not to add "There is no word yet if Grimwood is having a Replay himself now" after the notice of his death.--173.75.18.55 (talk) 13:12, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Epilogue[edit]

The part of the synopsis that got deleted in [this edit] does refer to an actual part of the book. However, I haven't put it back, because I don't know if it seems like an important part of the book. 104.58.122.29 (talk) 00:25, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Australia[edit]

When they were originally searching for other people replaying their lives, they received a note from Australia they were unable to track telling them it was not yet time, before they ended up receiving a letter from the other fellow who had been killing people after being inspired by the film. 2001:BB6:5241:C900:EC14:43F3:ED19:E34C (talk) 18:47, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That "not yet" note never has any real impact on the story so isn't worth mentioning. But my revert was due to to murder people who otherwise would have gone on to become serial killers. Where in the book does it say his victims would have become serial killers? Schazjmd (talk) 19:06, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel[edit]

What is known about the sequel? Did it involve Jeff and Pamela, the Norwegian from the end of the first book, or someone else? How much of it did Grimwood complete before he died? Has there been talk of having someone else complete it? 104.153.40.58 (talk) 03:27, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
