Nationalism[edit]

who ever wrote the article seriously miss understood satire and sarcasm

Riblja Čorba constantly fights racism, has never ever showed sings of hate towards any : race, religion, etc only against individuals who represent wrong ideas, tend to commit crime and such

But how is this true? If this is so then why are they still not touring croatia and bosnia? Not, only that but socialism is not the wrong idea!

Reply : they are not touring bosnia and croatia because that is Bora's personal decision, he does NOT hate people of bosnia or of croatia, but as he once said "we can't just say, well nothing happened let's go back to how it was before" he does not wish to forget the tragedy and the killings of both sides, but that doesn't mean he hates them or disrespects them or anything like that.

who are you to say it's right or wrong ?

I never said anything I was only asking. I see what you mean, but there's been worse, in world war II there were similar killings, and there are serbian artists who still perform in croatia. There are still fans. You can't just keep crying over the past i know what you mean, but all those pro nationalist and fascist anti-serb anti-croat and anti-bosniak beliefs will go away, because we'll all realise that only "idiots die for such stupid beliefs" as Bora once said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.95.114.241 (talk) 04:06, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

Factual Mistakes[edit]

The only factual mistake (albeit rather serious one) I've notice is that Riblja čorba jumped on band wagon of Serbian nationalism fairly early, as early as 1988 or 89. This doesn't reflects so much in songs of Riblja čorba, but Bora's public statements and his personal (some would say so-called) poetry. In these years he published songs that were strongly anti-Albanian and anti-Croatian such as: Kada Nuši / Srpsko groblje ruši / Pomaže mu Gaši / Jer se Nuši plaši... (a song about numerous Albanians tearing down Serbian graveyard) and Još kao mali ja sam bio stranac / Svi su bili kauboji, a ja Indijanac / Meni su govorili / "Some ništa ne znaš," / Svi su bili Hadukovci, ja jedini Zvezdaš (Anthem of Serbs in Vicinity of Split).
