Doesn't the section about his death belong at the end rather than in the middle? I'll wait and see if anyone wants to discuss this; I'm forever violative of WP:BB because I see this as a collaborative effort requiring good relationships, it's not about me. Rlquall 21:45, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm open to discussion on this. When I was writing that section, it just seemed to make more sense to have a birth-to-death biographical sketch as a complete unit, separate from lengthy units about his scholarly work, his novels, and the most famous public incident involving him. In addition, the death bit is only a few sentences, so it seemed more like a subset of the bio than a stand-alone unit. But I'm not wedded to this structure if there is a good reason to change it.
