Is there anything wrong with listing RJ calls? It's all entirely factual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.77.245.238 (talk) 23:55, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, because Wikipedia is not a repository of lists, quotes, or other indiscriminate information. Wikiquote would be an appropriate place. Croctotheface 02:20, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
True, but these hold more importance for RJ than other people. I mean, someone who is known for something famous may have quotes, but his calls are really what make RJ be himself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.77.245.238 (talk) 05:31, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your opinion. However, Wikipedia is still not a repository of links, quotes, or anything else. The content is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. See WP:NOT and other similar policies and guidelines. Wikiquote would be more than happy to have the content. Wikipedia is not the place for it. Croctotheface 06:43, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the sentence "Some Buffalo Sabres fans claim that Rick is such a good play-by-play man that he could make up his own play-by-play about him eating cereal in the morning for breakfast." This sentence is definitely inappropriate for a wikipedia article. 23:57 October 20, 2007. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.137.49 (talk) 03:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The singing of the Canadian National Anthem[edit]

The home games this season are blessed with the superior, energetic, heart-throbbing singing that exceeds all of our dreams. This man needs to be cited w/ his background and his credits. His biography deserves a section on the internet. Of course his singing of the American anthem is equally masterfull. I watched him this past week and discussed him with the music faculty at Villanova University. Thank you very much. We will tape him next time. More often than not the broadcasts do not televise the anthems. Thank you very much for this talented singer!
