Question[edit]

Ugg...was this translated from German with Google translate and then just plugged in with no editing? At points it actively doesn't make sense. john k (talk) 20:26, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, whoever wrote the article used some horrendous grammar. I took me over an hour (that much work) to clean it up as much as possible, in which I think I succeeded, so the article should at least now be an improvement vis-à-vis the previous mangled versions -- fdewaele, 15 November 2011, 16:48 CET.

Losses of the saxon army in WW I ?[edit]

  • 229.000 dead out of 750.000 mobilized ? That means, Saxon loss ratio was twice the overall german (?) (~some 2 Million out of 13 million). Seems, ehm, dubious, hard to believe. Is that claim confirmed or comprehensible, in any way ? - Thanks. --Oenie (talk) 08:08, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • based on harsh addition-failures. Real number was around ~140.000 (see German article for discussion). --129.187.244.19 (talk) 08:16, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
