Ref bombing[edit]

Is there any need for all the citations to the opening sentence? Can some of them be used elsewhere in the article? -- Ohc ¡digame! 16:44, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes relative (or no(t))? Ema--or (talk) 12:51, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Many people have the same surname. The disambiguation page Boys (surname) leads to 19 articles (including 4 Edwards and 5 Williams). It is normal to assume that another person with the same surname is NOT related, until someone cites evidence to the contrary. Dirac66 (talk) 13:36, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I see a strong circumstantial case though. Ema--or (talk) 14:29, 7 August 2023 (UTC) Suppose this case is now weaker. Ema--or (talk) 21:05, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not father; research. Ema--or (talk) 20:58, 7 August 2023 (UTC) Maybe other kin then. However the families come from different places ond regions. Ema--or (talk) 21:05, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also C.V.Boys was born in 1855 and S.F.Boys in 1911, so his generation would be the grandchildren of C.V.Boys if there is any relation. Dirac66 (talk) 23:07, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
