Is this language anachronistic?
[edit]I'm specifically looking at the part of the opening paragraph that reads "[t]he Act, drafted to protect the gene pool". I'm not all that familiar with the field, but my understanding is that gene theory was not really a thing when this bill was drafted. What would be a better way of putting this?
p.s. Sorry if this isn't quite the right use of the talk page. Just noticed an issue I'm not equipped to address while in the middle of studying and couldn't think of a better way to flag it.
