I've added {{split}} to the article, because I believe it should be split into three pages; one for the railroad signalman, one for the U.S. Navy rank, and one for the Australian army rank. I agree with the later, this should split into a railway usage and a single page for the military rank similar to the Private (rank) page. Having a page for each nations version of the signalman is going to be a mess. I'm a signalman in the British Army, and Im sure many other armed forces use this rank.
