Copy detected[edit]

I saw MadmanBot detected possible copy from another webpage. I did copy the text, but from the Complications of pregnancy article. In fact, I think it's the above match that has copied from Wikipedia and not the other way around. Mikael Häggström (talk) 13:19, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We are editing this page throughout the next month: Why this one? Include WP rating scale? How fit with your interests. We are currently learning about this topic in our medical studies and wanted to help improve this important subject on wikipedia. Assigned high importance with a start quality grade.

Initial Analysis of the article This article lists many signs/symptoms of pregnancy, without stating the frequency of each symptom or specifically describing what the symptom feels like. Some sections contain more information and more references than others. There are several incomplete sentences and sentences with poor wording. Overall organization, what changes

What will you add? Several of the signs and symptoms included have few citations, limited explanation of what the sign/symptom is, and language that is not necessarily helpful to the layman reader. We will add more references, add treatment options if applicable, better descriptions of what the symptom feels like. We also reorganized into early and late symptoms of pregnancy. What will you remove? Remove extraneous symptoms / signs that do not have sufficient evidence in literature What will you augment? We will improve the overall organization by adding subheadings, categorizing signs and symptoms according to “most common” and “less common” symptoms rather than having them all listed as “examples.” Roles in the project. List members and planned roles. Jess: primary research and citation Colin: primary research and citation Rachel: editing and checking

SOPHIE

Fatigue + breast tenderness- maybe add what changes in hormones, more details Move implantation bleeding to the top of early pregnancy section since its probably the first symptom Get rid of “round ligament” in the round ligament and lower abdominal pain heading, most people dont know what the round ligament is Standardize what is hyperlinked, the bolded words under skin and vasc changes are linked, but not in the GI section

Fatigue - is there still fatigue in 2nd/3rd trimester?

pyridoxine and doxylamine - add link to the wikipedia pages for these meds

Change "But till now" to "Until now" to increase clarity

fatigue- could expand upon which hormone changes cause fatigue. at would point should fatigue be assessed by a healthcare provider/ Good mid-late pregnancy is thorough

Can include a section about signs and symptoms of pregnancy that represent labor and delivery like dilation, contractions.
