New page[edit]

Hello, I created this article because I think that Sloan's Lake is noteworthy enough to have its own page. I've created a few other pages here on wikipedia, but almost all of them have to do with music, so the result of my efforts here is pretty basic. I got over the hurdle of what to call the article, because the Denver website I linked to refers to Sloan's Lake, not Sloan Lake, although I've lived in Colorado long enough to know that it's not unanimous. I have no idea how to find the coordinates, water depth, etc., so if anyone knows how to find this information, feel free to add to/expand the article. And if you've got a free image, that would be great too. Thanks! Zephyrnthesky (talk) 06:32, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lake, state park and neighborhood[edit]

We really need to separate the information about the lake, the state park and the neighborhood into separate articles, or at least separate sections. Lumping them all together into one article is misleading, particularly since the GNIS primary name for the lake is "Sloan Lake" while the state park and neighborhood are identified as "Sloan's Lake." • Yesterday I split the article into separate sections. Gjs238 (talk) 11:49, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Island in Sloan's Lake[edit]

There's an island in the middle of Sloan's Lake but there's no mention of it in the article. Can someone please add some info? Are there any facilities on the island like a dock or a picnic pavilion? Is the island open to the public?

Thank you
