Ommission[edit]

I have serious concerns about the accuracy, or perhaps the ommission of, relevant details in this article. I have only a hazy knowledge of goings on at BMP but as a several time DDB London employee I've always been lead to believe that the Smash Martians were created by John Webster. The 'designed by' designation is a little vague, could someone clarify Sian Vickers and Chris Wilkins' contribution and provide appropriate references? There's a danger of revisionist history taking place here, either in the cannonisation of John Webster or the airbrushing out of anyone else who took part in the creative process. This being such an iconic piece of advertising I believe it's important.

This page needs editing...[edit]

This page needs editing for spelling, grammar, etc.; e.g., "Their behaviour and personalty were developed when the puppeteers were messing around on set and the producers decided to base it on this"... personalty [sic] misspelled; "it" and "this" are ambiguous (or at least poorly chosen)... I don't care enough to fix it, but someone might... [I don't know how to formally mark it as a page that needs editing] philiptdotcom (talk) 08:02, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
