Is Severus Snape REALLY named after this town? Please add a link to veifiable source, or I'd suggest to remove the sentence.85.1.153.151 13:35, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The source given for the Severus Snape claim does not provide enough evidence. Rowling is quoted as saying "Snape is the name of a place in England." There is more than one place named Snape in England. Northeasternbeast (talk) 09:23, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
