Travellers[edit]

no mention of it being home to the largest gypsy/irish traveller population in the UK?

I'd like to mention something along these lines, but I can't find a reliable reference. Does anyone have one? Warofdreams talk 19:16, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure I've seen it referred to in an official Bromley Council report as the largest Gypsy/traveller community in the UK, if not in Europe, but I can't, just at the moment, find a reference. I will keep a lookout. CarolGray 10:45, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orpington[edit]

These retailers list their stores as Orpington branches. - This is most likely as the area is part of the Orpington post town. It probably isn't really that unusual to be noteworthy. MRSC 19:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
