I've had a quick look at this article, and while there's some good stuff here, from my perspective it falls short of reaching GA status at the current time. The following issues are those which I deem to be most serious at present:

  • The lede is of insufficient length and does not summarise the entire article, as it should per WP:Lede
  • A small number of statements appear throughout the article which are not cited. I have placed "citation needed" tags by them.
  • Where citations are provided they typically lack page number references, which make it difficult for anyone seeking to explore the topic further. This is particularly problematic when a whole book is cited for a single claim, although is also a problem then a whole article is cited too.
  • There are some uses of prose that could be improved; to take the first example, the lede states that it "is a term coined by the United States", but surely it would be more apposite to state that it was coined by the "government of the United States"? A Peer Review might help here.

Hopefully this article will see the necessary revisions and will then be renominated for GAN in the near future. Best, Midnightblueowl (talk) 22:21, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get to work on those things.---Owlsmcgee (talk) 07:11, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hope you don't mind my strikeouts - they reflect that I have tackled that part of your list, not that I reject your recommendations. :) --Owlsmcgee (talk) 02:22, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
