External Links to Sybase's Website[edit]

For the second time I've removed links to the Sybase IQ Success Stories and Sybase IQ Solutions Demo. I believe the general link to the official Sybase site is sufficient, and that these additional pages are simply sales pitches. An anonymous user suggested that "The linked material is not Sybase sales material; it is a third-party benchmark". However, I can find no evidence of this. The linked pages seem to be a list of testimonials and a Flash-based product demo, respectively.

Both of these pages are linked off the Sybase IQ homepage. To include them directly here would, in my opinion, violate the external link policy regarding balanced points of view. Electrolite 01:12, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unbiased assessment of Sybase IQ Technology[edit]

Is it possible to get a unbiased, scientific assessment and benchmark of SybaseIQ versus other Technologies.

I welcome experimentation with these new mechanisms, but find the supportive material too thin to be convinced of any use! There are so many factors and so many components involved in building an Information Delivery Architecture and Solution.

Unless a comprehensive overview of the entire architecture is not considered, esoteric features are always impressive!
