Known to the CWGC?[edit]

Despite the fact that he died while on military service from an illness that could be attributable to his service during the time the CWGC was registering First World War casualties (the cut off date is mid-1921), he is not apparently listed by them. Those with better access to records than I have (I do not live in the Lancashire area) may like to try making a case for belated commemoration by the CWGC to the In From The Cold Project, accessible online.Cloptonson (talk) 15:04, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He IS commemorated by the CWGC, I discover - he is simply listed as "E. Hodgson" with no full version of his Christian name given. He is listed on a screen wall memorial, no CWGC headstone having been put on his grave. I have now added a link to the CWGC record.Cloptonson (talk) 19:27, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
