The Best of The Doors[edit]

The Doors “The Best of the Doors” certification 10,000,000^[1] not 5,000,000))

The Diamond award is for 10 million certified units but the RIAA counts each disc in a double album as one unit. The running time requirement was eliminated for pre-1982 releases in 1997 and for whatever reason the RIAA is counting the release date of The Best of the Doors as 1973.
