"A discography of The Drifters." Oh yeah? According to their article, they are still active. So where are their albums (and, also, singles after 1976)? 82.141.124.221 (talk) 14:02, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

300 million records sold[edit]

I am a big fan of the Drifters. But this is clearly nonsense, despite their lengthy recording career. They were never one of the biggest selling acts in the world for a long period, just a few odd hits here and there. I see their website is now claiming around 350 million in sales (200 million of which they claim are singles). Even in the 70s, when they had huge pop success in the UK sales charts with several back to back top 10 successes (which was their peak of back to back top sellers) there were plenty of other acts selling more. As great as the Drifters music is, it is clear many acts have sold more records, and most of them haven't even topped the 300 million mark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.239.158 (talk) 11:31, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
