Clarify, please[edit]

Charlotte and Amerigo go shopping together for a wedding present for Maggie.

This reads oddly, since Maggie is about to marry Amerigo, and wedding presents are normally made to the couple, not just the bride. If this is to do with Charlotte's impoverished state, it ought to be clarified. Valetude (talk) 01:55, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
