Lyrics

A few words are repeated at points in the theme. Are these real words in some language? Ronstew (talk) 20:35, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

The book quoted in the article just mentions Montenegro "grunting" some sounds at various points during the song (or theme, if you will). I just listened to it again and can't make out any actual words, so I believe it's just some vocal sounds used as if it were another instrument. Zephyrnthesky (talk) 20:31, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I got the impression that something in the vocals is a sort of grunting punctuated by the word "gringo". Maybe I'm wrong. (Manco being the Clint Eastwood character), another theory is a sort of grunting punctuated by the word "ekko" - which seems meaningless (this seems to be the lyric used by the Danish National Symphony in its video). Ramones, Metallica, Agnostic Front

The reason I checked out this page is that I wanted to see if it mentioned all of these bands using it as entry music; I've heard it at all 3's concerts. Of course, that's "original research", so I didn't make the edit. The Ramones are mentioned in the article, but it says they "played a cover of it". That's actually absurd! Anyone familiar with both them and this tune would know that's impossible. I didn't edit it though in case the editor meant that the recording that they played was not the original music from the film but someone else's rendition (it sounded like the original to me). For Metallica, would it be an ok source to just put a link from YouTube showing them coming onstage to the song? Their "Big 4" videos are one example. This kind of source could probablly be found for the Ramones too. Not sure about AF... -Keith.
