Contradiction?[edit]

This page reads: "Bush wrote and recorded it when she was 16, making it the earliest-written of all tracks on the album" but the Kate Bush page states: "The album was released when she was 19 years old, but some of the songs had been written when she was as young as 13". Obviously, both statements cannot be right. Unless someone can verify this, I'm going to remove it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cal42 (talkcontribs) 13:02, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well done. I think The Saxophone Song may have been written before. Epbr123 09:42, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

tenor range?[edit]

The article claims Bush's range (for just this song?) goes up to C5. This is the tenor high C, is she really singing so low (in a tenors range!) for this song? Or are the octave number's wrong? The reference is to some written sheet music, but that doesn't mean that is the arrangement Bush used. Transposing by an octave is very common (esp to avoid extra ledger lines), and is sometimes not even noted in sheet music, just assumed. Going to take that sentence out for now— Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.149.177 (talk) 14:17, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed: "with Bush's vocal range spanning from B3 to C5"
