Themia vs. Euthemia

[edit]

In Not Even My Name, Thea Halo writes, "Themia is accented on the second syllable, the 'i'...We are told by Greeks that Efthemia is the correct name, but my mother was never called that." (Quote under "Pronunciation of Names", a page between the acknowledgements and the beginning of Book One.) Should we remove "Euthemia," even if it is the proper Greek name? Thanks!
