The Novel[edit]

Kudos to the authors of this article - but doesn't anyone know that both the movie and TV series Broken Arrow were derived from the novel Blood Brother by Elliott Arnold? Arnold's name was featured prominently in the credits for both the movie and the TV show - I'm amending the article to reflect this. Sensei48 (talk) 10:30, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pony Express[edit]

The article claimed that an Arizona mail delivery service became part of the Pony Express system. The well referenced PE article states that if ran in 1859 and 1860 between St. Louis and San Francisco. Not only is the factoid not referenced, it also contradicts the sources from the PE article. Ergo, the removal doesn't constitute original research. Tapered (talk) 07:11, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage[edit]

The intro says "With the blessing of Cochise, Jeffords married an Indian girl named Morning Star. She was killed in a raid shortly after the marriage." but there is nothing about this in the body of the article and no reference. RJFJR (talk) 17:59, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Meeting with Cochise[edit]

"Between 1867 and 1869, Jeffords was the superintendent of a mail line from Tucson to Socorro. He apparently gave people to understand that he had met Cochise during this period and negotiated a peace for his mail riders. This is very unlikely as they were attacked as often, seldom, after he took charge as before." Cochise would not have requested Jeffords (and no other person) as an Indian agent if he had not come to know him before. Nobody knows if the mail riders were attacked by men from Cochise's band or others. And Jeffords did not make himself friends by revealing this treaty (but maybe he got some more mail rider candidates). - Bafibo (talk) 11:34, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
