Text and/or other creative content from Tramper was copied or moved into Tramping in New Zealand with this edit on 21 March 2012. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

Why is this not just part of the Backpacking (wilderness) article[edit]

The concepts seem identical to me, just that "Tramping" is what the activity of wilderness backpacking is called in New Zealand. I suggest that this article be merged into the [Backpacking (wilderness)] article. Tom (talk) 13:05, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
