Hello Mr Gongshow. There are a few minor problems I'd like addressed before I can promote to GA but, overall, I think this is a very interesting, well written and researched article Cavie78 (talk) 10:34, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Do you have a more specific release date? Any information about the album's release and performance outside the US?
  • Sadly, I can find no sources that provide an exact release date; only "July 1967" in a handful of legit sources. Also, I can find nothing on the album's release and performance outside the US. It does not appear to have charted in the UK or Canada, since it's absent from books/sites that show historical chart peaks for albums in these regions. There is the issue of Mojo, which has a paragraph on the song "Magic Hollow" from the album (the article describes its picks for the 100 greatest psychedelic songs, with 50 from UK artists and 50 from US artists). Would it help to specify that its a UK publication?
  1. In the 'Background' section you mention that the band recorded their own compositions before the release of Beau Brummels '66 - were any of these recordings/songs used for Triangle?
  • Good point. I added a sentence to explain what happened to those recordings.
  1. "In contrast with the band's generally straightforward Autumn recordings..." I think it would be better to say something like "In contrast with the band's generally straightforward recordings for the Autumn label" for clarity.
  • Agreed. Changed.
  1. Any information about why Elliott and Valentino decided to write together?
  • Expanded section to provide more context.
  1. In the 'Release and reception' section it's unclear when some of the reviews were written. For example "Joel Selvin of the San Francisco Chronicle called the album a "cult classic", and SF Weekly's Justin F. Farrar remarked that it "has aged far more gracefully than that almighty concept record from '67, Sgt. Pepper's [Lonely Hearts Club Band]." Both quotes come from 2006 according to the refs - I think you should make this clear in the prose.
  • Dates added.
  1. The first mention of a particular songwriter should be spelt out in full in the 'Track listing' section and wikilinked per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums#Track listing
  • Fixed.
  1. The first mention of a particular instrument should be linked in the personnel section per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums#Personnel
  • Fixed.

Hi Cavie. Thanks for taking the time to review this article. I have added comments above and (hopefully) addressed most of your concerns. I'm always open to suggestions for improving the article - let me know how else I can help.  Gongshow Talk 01:00, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gongshow, thanks for addressing my concerns. Its a shame you can't find anything about the international release but, nevertheless, I'm happy to promote to GA (I don't think it's necessary to state that Mojo is a UK publication) Really enjoyed the article - going to dig out my copy of Triangle and have a listen tonight!
