From bendahara The most famous Bendahara in Malacca history was Bendahara Tun Perak (d. 1498) He served four Malacca Sultans and was the one who responsible in defeating Siamese Armada that intended to invade Malacca without having to fight. He installed hundreds of fire lights onto mangroove trees at the beach. When the Siamese Army arrived at night and saw the fire lights, they thought that it were Malacca's fleet thus cancelling their invasion plan. __earth (Talk) 07:19, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
