Largest known star?[edit]

Gaia EDR3 gives this star a parallax of 0.2150 ± 0.0304 mas, the noise values seem relatively low, indicating it might be reliable. At an angular diameter of 3.541601 mas, this corresponds to a radius of 1,708 R, is this reliable and should it be added? Nussun05 (talk) 20:02, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

At best, this would be WP:SYNTHESIS. Also, the astrometric noise is not low, it is about 25 times larger than the value that is considered significant and larger than the parallax value itself. Lithopsian (talk) 20:11, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The astrometric noise value is 0.248 mas, and the maximum reliable is 0.5 mas. Nussun05 (talk)
