Support:I think this is a no-brainer. Please merge. But merge Vachanas into Vachana, not the other way round. ie., I feel the article should be called 'Vachana' and not 'Vachanas'. Vachanas is just plural of Vachana. Sarvagnya 06:50, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Support:I support too. But, Sarvagnya, I have put in the tags such that Vachana is merged with Vachanas.

It is usually referred as "Vachanas" as a collection of work (Kannada: ವಚನಗಳು), rather than a single "Vachana" (Kannada: ವಚನ). So, IMO, it would make more sense to have Vachana merged with Vachanas. However, I am open for others' view too. Thanks. - KNM ^Talk 07:50, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: hmm... I am under the impression that Vachana is the literary form. In Kannada also its referred to as Vachana sahitya. Vachanas or VachanagaLu, I feel is just plural form. Infact, 'Vachana literature' or 'Vachana Sahitya' may also be better choices than just 'Vachana' or 'Vachanas' for the article title. In any case, I think we can go ahead and merge the articles and think about the title later. The article can always be moved later. Sarvagnya 23:15, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
