Innacurate?

"the music video for "Jump" featured Roth "flying" across the stage on a wire harness"

I thought this was "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovie? unless this was a version of Jump I never saw... forgive me I was just BORN in 1984... actually I think the video for Panama shows him flying on the stage.

Edward??

Is it really necessary to call Eddie Van Halen "Edward" throughout this article? Yes, fine, that's his real name, but it's not what he goes by. Makes the article sound like a 6th grade book report or something.

I'm going to go ahead and make the changes, and if anyone has a problem with it, they can revert or edit my post.

Lead Singer Membership Dates

I changed the dates of David Lee Roth's membership in Van Halen to 1978-1985 rather than 1974-1985. My logic was that the emergence of the band was really when they were commercialized with a record release. That logic holds true for the dates with the other lead singers and Roth's reprise role in 1996. Does anyone know if there is really a convention that needs to be adhered to or does my reasoning sound sufficient? --Chevan 23:39, August 20, 2005 (UTC)

Photography Copyright

I added in quite a number of photographs that I found on the Internet. I tried to use photos that were either album cover art or were part of the PR campaign to promote a tour. I think both of these types of photos will fall under "fair use"- can someone clarify if these photographs are acceptable to use on Wikipedia? --Chevan 23:51, August 20, 2005 (UTC)

Sub-Articles Need Help

The album articles that link off of the discography need to be cleaned up: facts need to be double checked, the content needs to be made as consistent as possible between each article and references need to be added (particularly the sales data).
