Commedia dell'arte[edit]

The article states

His family spent the early 1920s in Naples, Italy, where Scotti developed his gift for farce, modeled after the Commedia dell'arte, a symbolic style of Italian theatre.

It seems unlikely that he developed such a talent when he was pre-school age.

Scotti's Unusual Talent[edit]

Often, when Scotti was playing maitre'd or waiter characters in comedies, he would slap his lips with the tips of his fingers, making a popping noise, like a champagne cork being released (there are probably examples in YouTube videos, but I haven't located any). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.38.183.226 (talk) 18:39, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
