Does anyone remember where the festival actually was? I attended the festival for just one day and all I remember was that it was in a cornfield (it took me months to get out all the stubble from my blanket!). All we knew was that it was near the "city" of Wadena. All these 38 years ago....Hardly anything on the web about it save the bare facts that I know already--Phyllis1753 (talk) 15:47, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Although the Wadena website says it "hosted" the festival, I can remember clearly that it was not a very willing host. Judging by all the police activity, I could say an ungracious host at that. Anyway, 38 years later and much is forgotten. The current city leaders might be thinking it "cool" to say that the community "hosted" such an event. --Phyllis1753 (talk) 17:03, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
