Never charted[edit]

The article says this song was a top 40 hit. Billboard says it never charted. http://www.billboard.com/song/van-morrison/warm-love/937195#/song/van-morrison/warm-love/937195 Also, the Van Morrison Discography wiki article does not show that it ever charted. Did this song ever chart (top 40 or otherwise), and if so where?Tinman44 (talk) 16:25, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to take so long to answer, I couldn't find the book til now. But Into the Music' does say on page 102 - "'Warm Love' was a moderate Top 40 single hit... The catch line"... and it's ever present everywhere, Warm Love..."was exceedingly engaging, one of Van's finest lyrical hooks in Top 40 terminology." The book was written in 1975, when Morrison was recording and living in US, so you would think he was talking about US and with the date of the book so close to the time of charting, it would seem likely the author got it right. It's difficult to find chart numbers on Morrison's older albums and singles. The discography is really lacking for that reason and because this reference did not say US or UK it wasn't used there. Hope this helps. Agadant (talk) 02:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
