The "Miscellany" section should be incorporated into other sections, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trivia sections

The lead is overlinked; terms such as "lawyer" and "businessperson" should not be linked, as they are common. Uncommon terms like "jurisprudence" should remain linked.

Cornwell sold his ownership in the Hampshire Review to his brother in 1902 and relocated to Fairmont, where he engaged in the practice of law until 1910. I thought he sold his stake in 1900?

A sentence on his death should be added to the lead to represent the "later life and death" section?

In August 1908, Cornwell predicted in a newspaper interview that Democratic Party West Virginia gubernatorial candidate Louis Bennett would win the 1908 West Virginia gubernatorial election by 25,000 votes against Republican Party candidate William E. Glasscock. This sentence is a bit wordy, try removing the first "West Virginia", since it's clarified later in the sentence which race he's in.

Later that same year in 1890 "in 1890" is repetitious from "later that same year"

Would it be possible to merge the "Personal life" section into the rest of the article? It feels out of place chronologically, and the article would flow better if it ended with Cornwell's death, as opposed to his marriage.

William Benjamin Cornwell (November 25, 1864 – April 8, 1926) was a prominent American lawyer "prominent" is a WP:PEACOCK term.

Overall, this article is close to GA requirements; Cornwell has a noted place in West Virginia history. His combination of lumber and railroad interests is a classic example of vertical integration, while his acquisition of the rival newspaper exemplifies horizontal integration.
