NPOV[edit]

Language like "His execution of Mumford was extremely unfair, not to say downright cruel" is questionable and shows an obvious bias, or at the very least is unnecessarily sensationalist. Nsayer 01:00, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Call me sensitive but I do not find it unreasonable to describe any hanging for the tearing down of a flag "extremely unfair and downright cruel." Rmnm0902 (talk) 03:51, 5 February 2008 (UTC)--Rmnm0902 (talk) 03:51, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah but these are times of war. In war drastic measures are usually taken, not to mention that this took place around 150 years ago when life was a little more brutal back then. Anonymous user, 08:55, Oct. 10th 2008

Rmnm0902 please be advised that respect for basic human rights is an egregious violation of Wikipedia policy as outlined by the community above. Further protests on your part, be they symbolic, political, or otherwise, are grounds for execution. 76.111.244.85 (talk) 11:22, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
