This article should be renamed
[edit]The White Out is so common in sports now that I believe this article should be renamed Whiteout (sports) or something like that. The first section could be about how it started in Winnipeg, and then other sections about how it has spread. I think the first non-hockey usage was by Texas A&M in football against Oklahoma.

Winnipeg made that tradision, they should get credit for it. --74.237.54.62 (talk) 21:55, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- If you look at the date, that was a three year old suggestion, that obviously was never enacted. I doubt very much that this article will be moved, though I do think a lot of the stuff that is irrelevant to the Winnipeg version could be pruned. Resolute 05:32, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Maybe, The college football stuff seems diffrent, and to be honest idk any sport that does the white out besides basketball and hockey. --74.237.54.62 (talk) 01:22, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

- There isn't any real need to list every time the fans of a team has worn one colour en masse. Resolute 17:33, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
