I don't understand the last piece about the status of the movie: Paramount has recently put Without Remorse into turnaround, and Singleton, who signed a 5 picture release deal with Paramount when he signed on to Without Remorse, will most likely leave the picture now, along with Phoenix. What does 'into turnaround' mean? Is there some source to be cited for this? Gezzas Man 05:41, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Tc7wr.jpg[edit]

Image:Tc7wr.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

new "screws" ant charts[edit]

I'm really puzzled by what's meant by 'new "screws" ant charts'. Is "screws" in quotes because it is an abbreviation of propeller? Is "ant" a typo? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bikestats (talkcontribs) 23:18, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inspiration for Tom Clancy[edit]

It appears that Frank Lucas is used as inspiration for the character Henry Tucker in Tom Clancy's Without Remorse. They share many similalarites including being leading drug kingpins in New York, being Black with Mafia connections, and directly importing the drugs from SE asia in the coffins of dead U.S. Servicemen returing from Vietnam. Does this warrent mentioning in the article? 68.35.125.8 (talk) 07:32, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not if we can't document it. I've heard much the same thing. Along with the mention of Emmet Ryan as having served in the then-obscure but now-famous "Easy Company", I think it counts as trivia. 131.96.47.17 (talk) 14:54, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redid the plot summary[edit]

I re-wrote parts of the summary. It included details I figured were minor, but also overlooked important plot points. A few characters were referenced without being identified (e.g. talking about Kelly being reunited with Sandy without identifying who Sandy was). Just the normal stuff that comes up from frequent editing over time.

I also added a section of references to other Ryanverse works. This book was notable for including a lot of continuity porn; it provided backgrounds for characters like Clark, Agent Cassius and others. While it had important themes of its own (omitted since I didn't want the article lengthened and don't want to do OR), it was very much written as a part of the series. So I think a section like this is justified, whereas it might be less important in Hunt for Red October, which was originally more or less a standalone work. 131.96.47.17 (talk) 14:54, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

William Harper[edit]

"Actor Kevin Costner is also rumored to portray William Harper." quote. So Mr Harper is not a minor character of the book. Should add more mention of the character in the article. Wfoj3 (talk) 00:54, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
