"Female servicemen"[edit]

Although this is true, it appears only on one single page of the White Book 2019-2020 (p. 97). The whole document uses the terms

  • "servicemen" 118 times, including that 1 time "female servicemen" (p. 97)
  • "service personnel" (or "service-personnel") 60 times, including
    • in the chapter 6 title Humanitarian Policy and Social Guarantees for Service Personnel in the Armed Forces),
    • "female service-personnel" 6 times (all on p. 95),
    • "women service-personnel" 2 times (both on p. 97, the same page as that 1 time "female servicemen")
  • "servicewomen" 0 times

Do we really need to focus on that 1 translation error in our main body text? In all other occassions it's perfectly fine, and we see that they adopt gender-neutral language in many places where it is clear that it is about women, or can include women. I'm removing this, and making this a proper reference. NLeeuw (talk) 10:40, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
