I am worried that there could be a good bit more said about this song; for as big an artist as Selena, this is not a lot of material. The article is kinda flimsy as it stands and comes close to not covering the major aspects. Go back to the sources, maybe look in WP:TWL beyond ProQuest, and beef it up.

This song isn't that well-known compared to some of her other recordings. – jona 18:58, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I really struggled with this one, and I have felt on a knife-edge about how to handle this. I wish there was more. This page still clamors for it. Yet I can't find much of anything, and pages on similar topics are of similar size, so I am going to pass it. It feels like this early recording became way more notable after she died. Copy changes[edit]

Lead[edit]

  • Following the unveiling of the United States Postal Service's (USPS) No need to include the acronym in the lead if it's not used again in the lead.

Body[edit]

  • "Lead by" should be "led by"
  • Guerra proposed that Luke Combs, slated for an upcoming performance at the venue, could interpret "Ya Ves" utilizing his "radio-ready twang" on "Ya Ves". Overuse of the song title.
  • In 2005, Bobby Pulido received an invitation from Abraham to perform "Ya Ves" at the all-star televised benefit concert, Selena ¡Vive! (2005). redundant year; remove comma after "concert".
  • Comma after "Texas" (MOS:GEOCOMMA) or just make it read "Houston"
  • Selena's decimal anniversary of her death should probably be the tenth anniversary of Selena's death — this isn't an idiomatic use for decimal, though it would be for décimo
  • Who is Abraham? Is he the same as A. B. Quintanilla?
  • I've added the info. – jona 18:58, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Media[edit]

A 20-second fair use sample of the song is included. This is appropriately tagged and captioned.

Sounds good, @AJona1992. I had no problems with the media. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 05:22, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
