Should we delete the external Link to the Yamaha website?[edit]

I'm wondering if we should remove the link to the Yamaha Tenori-on site - since linking to it contravenes the external links advice concerning sites which "primarily exist to sell products or services". Link to Source for version 2.0 firmware[edit]

The link "Source for version 2.0 of the Tenori-On firmware" seems to point to a binary download, not source. I don't believe that source code has been released - it's not that sort of product. I think that link should be deleted.

What does it do?[edit]

2011-09-16 2355 - RD - All that I can see on the first couple of pages on Google talks about the white and orange versions, and who uses it. I'd never heard of it until today, and I can't find any reference which tells me what it does. The fact that it has a given number of LEDs and that you hold it in your hands and you can copy a block from one place to another doesn't in any way address this basic question. Is it really an instrument?[edit]

There is still not an answer to the question above ("What does it do?"), at least for someone who expects an "instrument". If it weren't for the loudspeakers, I'd expect to see it described as a controller or interface. Hi there, i found [[1]] Which says it generates its own sounds via AWM2 sound generation technology (a newer version of AWM used on older Yamaha synths), the article goes on to say the sounds it produces (via its loud speakers at the top as you have said) are pads, basses, piano, strings and organ.
