Direction of zonal flows[edit]
I don't understand how at the same time "the term zonal flow means a plasma flow within a magnetic surface primarily in the poloidal direction" and that "Zonal flows (...) are further characterized by (...) having little or no variation in either the poloidal or toroidal direction".
