The Taman Siswa (literally ""Students' Park") was a Javanese educational movement in the Dutch East Indies, founded in July 1922 by Ki Hadjar Dewantara (1889–1959), who was born as Raden Mas Soewardi Soerjaningrat, a Javanese nobleman.
