Tatsuno (たつの市 Tatsuno-shi) is a city located in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.
As of April 30, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 81,087, with a household number of 29,212 and a population density of 384.43 persons per km². The total area is 210.93 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1951.

Tatsuno is famous for production as Sōmen and Soy sauce in Japan.[citation needed]

On October 1, 2005, the towns of Ibogawa, Mitsu and Shingū from Ibo District merged into the city of Tatsuno. To reflect the new character of the city, the kanji characters in the city's name were changed from 龍野市 to たつの市.
