Usage [edit]
Project banner [edit]
The {{WikiProject Film}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

General parameters:
- small – "yes" if the banner should be rendered in its miniature size; this should be used sparingly and only on crowded talk pages for the time being
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details
National and Regional Task forces:
- American-task-force – "yes" (or "American=yes") if the article is supported by the American cinema task force
- Argentine-task-force – "yes" (or "Argentine=yes") if the article is supported by the Argentine cinema task force
- Australian-task-force – "yes" (or "Australian=yes") if the article is supported by the Australian cinema task force
- Baltic-task-force – "yes" (or "Baltic=yes") if the article is supported by the Baltic cinema task force
- British-task-force – "yes" (or "British=yes") if the article is supported by the British cinema task force
- Canadian-task-force – "yes" (or "Canadian=yes") if the article is supported by the Canadian cinema task force
- Chinese-task-force – "yes" (or "Chinese=yes") if the article is supported by the Chinese cinema task force
- French-task-force – "yes" (or "French=yes") if the article is supported by the French cinema task force
- German-task-force – "yes" (or "German=yes") if the article is supported by the German cinema task force

- Filmmaking-task-force – "yes" (or "Filmmaking=yes") if the article is supported by the Filmmaking task force
- Christian-task-force – "yes" (or "Christian=yes") if the article is supported by the Christian films task force
- Comic-book-task-force – "yes" (or "Comics=yes") if the article is supported by the Comic book films task force
- War-task-force – "yes" (or "War=yes") if the article is supported by the War films task force
Needs and requests:
- needs-image - "yes" if the article needs an image, such as a poster or on-set photo
- needs-infobox – "yes" if the article needs an infobox added or updated
B-Class checklist (available only for articles rated as "Start-Class", "C-Class" or "B-Class"—see the assessment department for more details):
- B-Class-1 – "yes" if the article meets criterion #1 for B-Class status; "no" if it does not
- B-Class-2 – "yes" if the article meets criterion #2 for B-Class status; "no" if it does not
- B-Class-3 – "yes" if the article meets criterion #3 for B-Class status; "no" if it does not
- B-Class-4 – "yes" if the article meets criterion #4 for B-Class status; "no" if it does not
- B-Class-5 – "yes" if the article meets criterion #5 for B-Class status; "no" if it does not
Reviews and collaborations:
- A-Class – indicates the status of the article's A-Class review, if any; see the A-Class review instructions for more details
- old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed for peer review by the project
- past-collaboration - "yes" if the article was a previous Collaboration of the Week
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
