From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage[edit]

This template cites species, genus, and family pages on Go Botany, a website on native and naturalized New England plants.

To edit the URL and link text, go to {{Go Botany/url}} and {{Go Botany/title}}.

Parameters[edit]

|genus=
Genus name, used in URL and link text. Omit if you are linking to a family page.
|species=
Specific epithet (species name), used in URL and link text. Omit if you are linking to a genus page. Will be ignored if |genus= is not set.
|family=
Family name, used in link text. Remove "family" from the end: |family=rose, not |family=rose family. Will be ignored if |genus= is set.
|common=
Common name (displayed in title). Ignored if |link= is set.
|access-date=, |accessdate=
As in other citation templates. Ignored if |link= is set.
|link=
If defined, create a link suitable for an external links section in which all links relate to the same taxon. In link mode, the template displays the name of the site and the publisher. It uses |species=, |genus=, |family= to generate the URL, but |common= is ignored.
