Place this template at the bottom of appropriate articles about guitars:

{{Guitar picking}}

For transcluding articles, you can add a variable designating one relevant sub-template: The additional variable will display the sub-template's articles (while hiding the articles in the other sub-templates):

{{Guitar picking|General}}
{{Guitar picking|Fingerstyle}}
{{Guitar picking|Flatpicking}}
{{Guitar picking|Innovators}}

With the optional command |state=collapsed, the whole Guitar-picking navbox will be initially displayed in its collapsed (hidden) state, e.g. {{Guitar picking|General|state=collapsed}}.

How to manage this template's initial visibility

To manage this template's visibility when it first appears, add the parameter:

|state=collapsed to show the template in its collapsed state, i.e. hidden apart from its titlebar – e.g. {{Guitar picking |state=collapsed}};
|state=expanded to show the template in its expanded state, i.e. fully visible – e.g. {{Guitar picking |state=expanded}};
|state=autocollapse to show the template in its collapsed state but only if there is another template of the same type on the page – e.g. {{Guitar picking |state=autocollapse}}.

Unless set otherwise (see the state parameter in the template's code), the template's default state is autocollapse.
