Usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

{{WikiProject Equine |class= |importance= }}

Optional parameters

  • class=X, where X is FA, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, FL, List, Category, Disambig, Template or NA - see the quality scale
    Wikipedia assigns FA and GA to appropriate articles once the template has been added. These tags are only for articles that have been designated Featured Article or Good Article. Use A only after formal assessment. The highest class an editor can assign on their own is B. Use Start class if the article has substantial content, including some images and references. Most new articles will be Stub class unless they are quite lengthy and have at least a few sources. NA is for "non articles" that need not be assessed; use it for templates, categories, disambiguations, redirects, and lists.
  • importance=Y, where Y is Top, High, Mid, Low, or NA - see the importance scale
  • breeds=yes, if this article is part of the Horse breeds task force.
  • training=yes, if this article is part of the Horse training task force.
  • listas – This parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Pippa Funnell, |listas=Funnell, Pippa, so that the talk page will show up in the F's and not the P's of the various assessment and administrative categories). This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. For more information about this, please see Wikipedia:Categorization of people#Ordering names in a category.
    It is not required if an earlier WikiProject template on the same page has its own |listas= set.
  • small – set |small=yes to display a small version of the template aligned along the right side of the page (as opposed to at the top).
  • category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Example

{{WikiProject Equine |class=start |importance=low |listas=Funnell, Pippa }}
