Colors

OK, something ODD is definitely going on... First off, I didn't remove the link to Known Wraith when I was doing my color changes...yet it shows that I did... then, User:Dpark changed the colors to be more uniform, and I edited the template to put back the Known Wraith link...but it shows that when I put back the link it said I'd deleted (but hadn't), it says now that I changed the colors back to what I had before Dpark changed them, which I didn't!  ?! I think Wikipedia has been having some edit issues lately. I editted another template for color a few minutes ago, and then it told me I had an edit conflict. . . with myself. Of course, it's also possible that you accidentally editted a previous version which had your colors. I wouldn't worry too much about it unlses you notice other "mishaps" creeping in. -- Dpark 00:19, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

Template...beautification

I'm thinking about adding somethings to make this template a little more...fitting. It seems a little large, bulky and generic. I'll be working over on my sandbox. Looking to perhaps add an Stargate logo, sort of like the Firefly template I've created, add an "Edit" link, and perhaps a "hide box" link as seen here. -b 18:42, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

• Fair use images on templates are a no-no guys, there was a big controversy over using fairuse pictures of the band members to illustrate Template:The Beatles. It probably won't get us in trouble, but we're safer without it. Night Gyr 19:23, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

major changes

i think this template needs serious work.

does it currently summarise the "Topics in Stargate"? no. it doesnt even point to the main articles pertaining to the series. any outsider who went through this template would find nothing by LISTS OF NAMES. the funny thing is, this template doesnt even have a link to stargate (device), which i would say is one of the most important topics in stargate!

i think we need to rework this majorly. the top row is good. the second row less so, the third abysmal. "personnel in atlantis" is hardly the thing we want as a "top level topic".

ultimately we need a few things already linked to on other templates, but i dont think the doublelinking is going to be bad. there are some MAIN AREAS of stargate simply MISSING from this "topics in SG" template!

I don't think these are a big enough threat, ever, or certainly anymore, and they are already encompassed by The Trust (or the other way around). I say choose either to have a link to the trust or NID, not both. -- Alfakim --  talk  13:48, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
