[edit]

Deprecate an obsolete User language template when corresponding User language-babelcode templates for babelcodes -0, -1, -2, -3, -4, and (maybe) -N exist.

Example

[edit]

This is a subst'ed (old) demo of {{subst:User babelcode}}:

This template is obsolete, please use one of:

Template:User babelcode-0 (edit discuss links history) (often useless or special)
Template:User babelcode-1 (edit discuss links history)
Template:User babelcode-2 (edit discuss links history)
Template:User babelcode-3 (edit discuss links history)
Template:User babelcode-4 (edit discuss links history)
Template:User babelcode-N (edit discuss links history) (unusual for programming languages)

Details

[edit]

To get a fresh example remove the old example, insert {{subst:User babelcode}}, and in a second step remove the category manually, of course this talk page isn't a deprecated template... ;-)

For modifications of Template:User babelcode(edit talk links history) try {{subst:Lts|{{PAGENAME}}}}. The template used the subst'ed version of Template:User babelcode(edit talk links history).

Esoteric

[edit]

An optional parameter can replace the default -N explanation unusual for programming languages. For an example see User c (edit discuss links history).

Discussion

[edit]

I added a -5 element to it, for Professional ranking. If that's not allowed, please remove...
