You could do it like {{template:welcome}} does it, but that requires the first argument to be your username, like {{subst:Welcome!|Phago}}. If you decide to do that, replace "my talk page" with "{{#if:{{{1|}}}|[[user talk:{{{1}}}|my talk page]]|my talk page}}". --Ioeth _{(talk contribs friendly)} 15:31, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
